The Village of Chester is currently collecting Chester-related items to be included in a new county time capsule organized by the Thayer County Time Capsule Committee and the Thayer County Historical Society.

This time capsule will be stored at the Thayer County Museum and opened in 50 years—giving future generations a glimpse of life in our community today.

If you’d like to contribute, you can:

We’ll make sure your items get to the committee.

Item Guidelines:
- Items must be shoe box size or smaller
- No deadline has been set yet, but earlier submissions are encouraged
